Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability Agreement 

Participation Guidelines

- Guests ages 13–17 are welcome to throw with a parent or guardian present.

- Children under 12 can enjoy our arcade and table games but may not participate in axe throwing.

- Guests who require assistance with supervision or decision-making should attend with a responsible adult who can sign on their behalf.

- Each visit includes a brief coaching session to make sure everyone feels confident and safe—no matter your experience level.

Safety Guidelines

- One guest in the throwing lane at a time.

- One axe per lane at a time.

- Axes are for throwers only.

- Please throw responsibly, No trick throws, flips, or unsafe handling.

- Stay behind the lane boundaries at all times when not throwing.

- Closed-toe shoes are required.

- Food and drinks must be from approved by Axe Social Lounge.

- For everyone’s safety, guests who appear impaired may be asked to step out.

- Our team may pause or end participation if safety guidelines aren’t being followed.

By participating, you agree to follow these guidelines and any direction from our staff.

Coaching Experience

Every visit includes a quick session with one of our trained coaches, covering:

- Introductions and check-in

- Waiver confirmation

- Safety expectations

- What to expect physically and mentally

- A quick demo to get you throwing like a pro

Assumption of Risk

Axe throwing is exciting, but like any activity, it comes with some risk.

By participating, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any risks involved, including injury, property damage, or other unforeseen outcomes. You confirm that you are in a condition to safely participate and are not under the influence of anything that could impair your judgment or coordination.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, and any related matters will be handled within Ohio.

Photos & Videos

We love capturing the great moments that happen here! From time to time, photos or videos may be taken to share the Axe Social Lounge experience.

By being here, you’re giving permission for your image to be used for marketing and promotional purposes (social media, website, etc.). No compensation will be provided. Content may be edited as needed

Acknowledgment

By signing below, you confirm that:

- You’ve read and understand this agreement

- You agree to follow all safety and facility guidelines

- You’re participating voluntarily and accept the associated risks

- You consent to photo/video use as described above
